Annual General Meeting and Club Presentation Day
Importent notice for all N.S.W Quarter Midget members and keen followers - as the racing season has now finished the time has come around again for our annual general meeting and club presentation day.
For club members this is where you get to decide who the 2011-2012 committee will be. This year it will be held at the Ettamogah Pub at Rouse Hill in Sydney on Saturday 9th July 2011 Starting at 12:30pm .
It is a family friendly environment and kids are welcome. It will be a great day so come along and join in even if you are not a memeber. it will give you a chance to chat with others about our division, as you can be involved without having a racecar. All you really need is a passion for racing and the will to promote our club so it can continue to grow.
Speedway Swap Meet - 12th June at Sydney Speedway
For anyone interested in getting involved with our division, please come along to the Speedway Swap meeting this weekend (Sunday 12th of June). We will be having a display, with some of our cars, so if you have any questions, or need any information, please don't hesitate to chat with us.
Important information for NSW Titles on 30th April at Cullen Bullen!!!
For everyone who is planning to run in the NSW Titles on the 30th of April at Cullen Bullen, please be aware of the following points:
- All cars will be weighed with driver to ensure that all cars meet the minimum weight as outlined in the NSW Quarter Midget Rule book. The weight requirement is;
- 200kg minimum for non suspension cars.
- 220kg minimum for suspension cars.
- To be able to race you must be a current member of the NSW Quarter Midget association. you can join and pay on the day, however you will not be able to race if you are not a current member.
- All drivers MUST have and use the required safety gear, in particular a neck brace and fireproof underwear. it is a NASR requirement, so safety equipment MUST be used if you are going to race.
26th Feb Cullen Bullen Cancelled.
This meeting has been cancelled due to lack of numbers. the next meeting will be held on the 26th of March.
29th Jan Cullen Bullen Cancelled.
Due to storm damage to the lighting system, our meeting at Cullen Bullen has be cancelled for the 29th of Jan. However we do have the opportunity to race at Nowra on the 29th. Details will be given once confirmed.
Exciting Round 4 at Parramatta Speedway - 11/12/2010
A very exciting night of racing was held at Parramatta with Car 6 Joe Woodcock taking out the Feature race, Car 88 Dan Biner coming in second and Car 11 Darren Todd rounding out the top three.
A crash in heat 2 involving Car 22 Loren Vassal, Car 54 Brett "Cruz" Hall and Car 18 Peter Priest saw both Cruz and Pete getting some wicked air, but also ended their night's racing. After the restart, Loren powered home to steal second place on the line from Car 11 Darren Todd in a photo finish. for a video of the crash, click here. All drivers involved were uninjured.
Important Change to Nominations
From now on, instead of nominating in the forum for each race meeting, please SMS your nomination to Chris Steep on 0404 004 640. Please include your Full Name, Racing Number in the SMS.
Also, If there is the possibility that you could make it to the race meet, please nominate, even if you are not 100% sure.
Round 2 Held - 30/10/2010
The 2nd race meet was held at Cullen Bullen on 30/10/2010. There was a good turnout with 10 cars, making for plenty of action!

First Race Meet Held - 25/09/2010
The First Race Meeting of the season was held at Cullen Bullen on 25/09/2010. 7 cars attended, with Paul Reitdyk taking First in the Feature Race. Darren Todd came in Second, with Ian Todd taking Third place. Thanks for everyone who came and made this a great day! for full round 1 results, see The Results Page Here.
